STARFALL CATALYST: Mortus Space Junkyard - Junk Shuttle, Collector and Chain Rails Concept Art

To understand the lore behind this concept, this prop is located in a world named Mortus, a space junkyard planet which is made out of debris of space junk (abandoned/wrecked ships, jet skeletons, rocks,etc.). Tho looking abandoned, the planet is still active by revived robots, creating a regime ruled by the Mortus Pirate King that lies in the very top of the Skulls head.
The Junk Shuttle is a means to transport parts from the planet to the Mortus Pirate base. The Bin Collectors are scavengers that are able to detach and reattach back to the shuttle. The Chain Rails is the electronic rails that power the shuttle back to the Pirate Base.
I used Photoshop and Affinity for final touch of the environment.

Here is an environment concept art on which the shuttle moves closer to the Mortus Pirate Ship.

Here is the final concept and render of the Junk Shuttle, with its Bin Collectors that functions electronically on a Chain Rail.

Initially I would do silhouettes of how this construction will look like. After selecting the silhouette, I've started exploring on details of how the bin collector works.

After finally selecting the mechanic of the Bin Collector, I've tried to put in more thought on how the bones and mechanics should function in game.

Here is the modelling sheet for the Bin Collector. It looks rather slender compared to the initial concepts, but I had to fit in the criteria of the dimensions that was given later on.
